Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
| 1. | Izaa zul zilatil ardu zil zaalaha | When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, | إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا | |
|
| 2. | Wa akh rajatil ardu athqaalaha | And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), | وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا | |
|
| 3. | Wa qaalal insaanu ma laha | And man cries (distressed): ´What is the matter with her?´- | وَقَالَ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا لَهَا | |
|
| 4. | Yawmaa izin tuhaddithu akhbaaraha | On that Day will she declare her tidings: | يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا | |
|
| 5. | Bi-anna rabbaka awhaa laha | For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. | بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا | |
|
| 6. | Yawma iziny yas durun naasu ash tatal liyuraw a'maalahum | On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). | يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ | |

| 7. | Famaiy ya'mal mithqala zarratin khai raiy-yarah | Then shall anyone who has done an atom´s weight of good, see it! | فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ | |
|
| 8. | Wa maiy-y'amal mithqala zarratin sharraiy-yarah | And anyone who has done an atom´s weight of evil, shall see it. | وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ | |
