Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
| 1. | Wal 'asr | By (the Token of) Time (through the ages), | وَالْعَصْرِ |

| 2. | Innal insaana lafee khusr | Verily Man is in loss, | إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ |
|
| 3. | Illal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati wa tawaasaw bilhaqqi wa tawaasaw bissabr | Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy. | إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ |
